A Neurologist With Double Board Certification Believes That Joe Biden May Be Suffering From Vascular Dementia

A neurologist with double board certification, Dr. Russell Surasky, has dismissed media claims that President Joe Biden has Parkinson’s disease. Instead, he suggested Biden may have vascular dementia and called for an MRI and neurological testing to assess his cognitive health.

Dr. Surasky observed that Biden lacks key signs of Parkinson’s, such as a shuffling gait, cogwheel stiffness, and unilateral resting tremor. However, he noted a stiff walk and visible signs of cognitive decline.

He criticized the president’s team for allegedly hiding these signs and emphasized Biden’s medical history—including atrial fibrillation and two brain aneurysms—as possible risk factors for vascular dementia.

Vascular dementia can cause early issues with judgment and reasoning, followed later by memory loss. Treatment typically targets the underlying causes, like high blood pressure or blood clots.
