Liam Payne’s Estate Details Unveiled: £24M Inheritance For Son Bear, Girlfriend Excluded

Liam Payne’s £24M Estate Revealed After Tragic Death

Liam Payne, former One Direction star, died in October after falling three stories from a hotel balcony in Buenos Aires, suffering fatal injuries. He was later buried in Amersham, UK, surrounded by family, including Cheryl, the mother of his son Bear, girlfriend Kate Cassidy, Simon Cowell, and former bandmates.

Payne died without a will, leaving behind a £28.6 million fortune, with £24.3 million remaining after debts. Under UK intestacy laws, since he wasn’t married, his 8-year-old son Bear is expected to inherit the money via a trust. Cheryl and music lawyer Richard Bray have been granted control of the estate.

Although Payne reportedly covered Kate Cassidy’s expenses, she has no legal claim to the estate and has said she won’t contest it. She has spoken publicly about her grief and caring for their dog, Nala, at the time of his death.
