Pope Leo’s brother shared post calling Nancy Pelosi a drunk “c***”

Louis Prevost, the 73-year-old brother of newly elected Pope Leo XIV (born Robert Prevost), has drawn controversy after sharing a vulgar pro-Trump post online that referred to Rep. Nancy Pelosi as a “drunk c***.” The post, along with others, highlighted his strong support for Donald Trump and disdain for Democrats.

Pope Leo XIV was elected as the 267th pontiff following the death of Pope Francis, becoming the first American Pope. In his first public address, he called for an end to war.

Louis Prevost’s online activity, reported by outlets including the New York Post and The Daily Beast, included memes mocking liberals, claims that Democrats should be jailed for treason, and dismissive remarks about “woke” culture. Despite this, he said he expects his brother to be “similar to Francis, but a little more conservative.”

Reacting to his brother’s election, Louis expressed shock and joy, joking that he may need to “behave now” given his brother’s new role as leader of the Catholic Church.
